Why is it that people are trying to put up girls schools in Afghanistan? Boys schools are fine, but if girls are educated then when the boy becomes a man he will be unable to aquire a obedient young virgin wife.
The taliban gang have recently tide a male teacher who was teaching girls and wouldn't stop to 2 motorcycles, disemboweled him, and then ripped him appart. (This is after threats and normal murder didn't stop the teachers from educating girls).
Secondly, are you actually in afganistan (I ask this because of the post on the Duke rape case).
Every Afghani man I've talked to is somewhat pro-women's rights it seems because Islam apparently has women's rights (though one man said those rights were circular (I guess he wasn't very pro-women's rights)).
Thirdly: what do the US troops think of women's rights etc?
Yes I am in afganistan but I keep up on all US news and related subjects. I think women should have certain rights but voting and going to school are not to be those. Like you said if women get educated then they think they will be too good to be wife of men here and that is not how it should be. Also they should not be clerics because the Quaran tells us so.
The US troops I have talked to do not think our women should have the same rights as men because they do not have enough intelligence to be responsible with these rights. They say just look at US and how women there are murdering their unborn children and cheating on their husbands and getting child tax out of them when husbands throw them out. It is a disgrace they say.

As for if Martha is an Afghani or not. I'd like to know, I have talked with other Afghani men (who I looked for myself on irc etc) and they don't use phrases such as fag or hag. Also I don't believe that they were concerned with the US liberal/conservative divide. Thirdly I know that atleast the US Troops stationed in GitMo are pro-women's rights: they've been interviewed in newspapers and they say how the Afghans they have arrested are anti-women's rights and they (the soliders) show the detainees that America is pro-women's rights etc.
I'd like for Martha to really be what he says he is. It would be great to have some out-of-country radical support. But I don't know. Another thing that makes me question is the listing of Hitler's Mein Kamph as his favorite book and the racism below. I don't know if afghans love hitler or are perticularly racist, and I haven't seen any of them put such on their websites or betray any such feelings to me. I would assume that this site is made by an American (the language suggests it) to ellicit a response and that the author does not believe what he rights.
However. If he continues to write anti-women's rights stuff long enough he will begin to believe it. (Which is good). Also even if the anti-women's rights stuff is just a joke those not knowing will feel supported by it... and come out more forcefully against women's rights themselves.

Yes, the desperation is there, there are very few men who are against women's rights in the entire world (including the Islamic wold (because the religion does respect women, unforturnatly)). If this joke site by martha changes some lower-iq people's minds about women's rights then it is useful. It can't make someone more pro-women's rights because it is a joke to people who are in the mainstream. However for those who are less inteligent... it can have an effect.
In the end the only times women have not had rights is when democracy was not evident in a country (because normal men believe that women should be equal or above them ("the fairer sex etc"))

The only point I want to make is I a FOR MEN'S RIGHTS. Not that I am against womens' rights. I see our rights slipping here in Afganistan and around the world and I felt I must at least speak up about it.

The only rights a girl should have are to be fed and clothed so she does not starve or freeze to death, so she may fulfill her purpose for which she was created. Women today claim many more rights today up to and including equality and preeminence over men; these are what are now known as women's rights... and they are bad for men.
The internet is mostly anonomyous (well for me it isn't, I've tracked peeps in the USA down to their home address). You don't have to prove yourself to anyone (and it is almost impossible to do so... people call me a feminist troll even after many years of being anti-women's rights... they can't believe that someone would be so against women's rights so they assume I am out to discredit them).
The thing is that... it's almost too good to be true. In talking with other Afghans I've been disapointed, in reading about the US military I've been dissapointed.
Then here is Martha. He's a man that we all hope exist. He is against women's rights and pro men's liberty. He wants and has what all straight men in the US want as a teenager, but that which is beaten out of them once they are adults (and it is made clear that we will never reach our desires). If this were true then there would be hope for Afghanistan, and thus hope for the third world... and thus hope for the whole.
Secondly he tells us that the US soliders also are against women's rights, that they don't believe women should have the vote. He says that our soliders do recognise the probles giving women such power produces. If this were true it would mean that I could be proud of my country's armed forces. My patriotism would be satisfied.
These two things would be so wonderful that... it's almost too much to believe.
Martha: could you tell us more about your situation in afghanistan, how your village is, and other things so that any false doubts are removed.
Some of your enemies you will never convince (or they will just hate you if you do convince them), but your friends need to know the truth because there needs to be hope.

It's more of a statement than a question, really, because there's no other reason for one person to deliberately track someone down - right to their home address - if it wasn't for threatening or malicious purposes. This will obviously come as a devastating and astounding shock to you, but normal people don't do that. They just ... don't.
What you're doing could be viewed as terrorist activity and is a violation and invasion of people's privacy. Just because someone's window is open doesn't mean it's okay to stand underneath it and watch them undress. It's because of people like you that normal people have to go to extreme measures to hide their home addresses, their cell and home numbers, in fear that you or one of your fellow crazies will hunt them down.
